Members and founders of the British rock band Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor, gave an interview to BBC Radio 2 in which they said they plan to release an unreleased song featuring Freddie Mercury’s vocals.
“We really found a little gem from Freddie that we’d forgotten about. It was a real discovery,” the musicians share. They also added that the track was to be included on Queen’s 13th studio album, The Miracle, recorded in 1989, the band’s most productive period.
The title of the track has not been disclosed. It will be premiered in September.
Recall that after Mercury’s death in 1991, Queen released several unreleased tracks featuring the singer. For example, a collection of Queen Forever songs from 2014.
